“Rolling in the Deep” is a vengeful account of a broken-hearted woman who gave everything to her lover but only ended up being betrayed. It was released by record-breaking pop superstar Adele as the first single off her 2010 album, 21. The song became her breakthrough hit as it received widespread critical acclaim, topping the charts in twelve countries. In the United States alone, it reached the top spots on several Billboard charts, including Billboard Hot 100 – where it ranked No. 1 for seven weeks.
