Here’s the chorus of this “feel-good” song:

You make me smile like the sun
Fall out of bed, sing like a bird
Dizzy in my head, spin like a record
Crazy on a Sunday night
You make me dance like a fool
Forget how to breathe
Shine like gold, buzz like a bee
Just the thought of you can drive me wild
Oh, you make me smile

Uncle Kracker was born and raised in Mount Clemens, Michigan. As a child, he was active in joining turntable competitions in a nightclub in Clawson, Michigan together with his older brother. The event led him to meet one of his friends and a popular country artist now, Kid Rock. The two met when Uncle Kracker’s older competed against Kid Rock. They soon became friends.

In 1994, Kid Rock invited Uncle Kracker to be the turntablist of his band, Twisted Brown Trucker. Aside from playing turntables for Rock’s live performances, he started recording Rock’s third studio album, Early Mornin’ Stoned Pimp.

In 2000, Uncle Kracker decided to go solo and released his first solo album, Double Wide. He was married to Melanie Haas, his childhood darling. Their marriage gave them three daughters. However, they ended their relationship in 2014.
