Actress Taylor Cole has starred in several Hallmark Channel original movies since 2016, including Appetite for Love, Matching Hearts, Ruby Herring Mysteries: Prediction Murder, Unlocking Christmas, and so much more.
Indeed, she has become one of the network’s go-to-actress. But perhaps the biggest highlight for Cole working on Hallmark films is how it led her to meet her husband, Cameron Larson.
Cole and Larson actually met on the set of a Hallmark movie. And their love story is very similar to Hallmark’s 2020 Valentine Day special, Matching Hearts. Wherein Cole played the role of a matchmaker named Julia, who was tasked by her mentor to find the right woman for a businessman who believes staying single is the key to success – only to find out that it’s she who is his perfect match!

In real life, Cole tried playing matchmaker for Larson too. Larson is a producer and production manager, and he’s best known for his work on Jurassic Predator: Xtinction and Mysterious Island.
After being friends for many years, Cole attempted to set Larson up with a few of her friends. “Luckily, similar to the movie, none of the matches worked, and we both realized we were perfect for each other,” the actress said.

And on June 20, 2020, Cole and Larson finally tied the knot on the shores of Lake Tahoe. The happy couple looked gorgeous, with Cole wearing a vintage Hollywood-inspired Vera Wang dress while Larson opted for a Hugo Boss tuxedo.
Though it wasn’t the wedding they were hoping for, “it really turned out to be the perfect day — our own Hallmark version of love in the time of COVID,” Cole said.
Taylor Cole and Cameron Larson originally planned for a wedding with more than 100 guests at a local resort on Lake Tahoe, but the COVID-19 pandemic made it impossible for their loved ones to travel. Moreover, their original venue was also hit with construction delays, still because of the pandemic.
The two ended up considering postponing their wedding until next year, but they could no longer wait as they were too excited to profess their love and commit to one another. “It sounds a little cheesy, but when you know, you know, and we wanted our forever to start as soon as possible,” Cole said.
Luckily, their videographer found a way to live stream the special moment, so their friends and family did not miss anything from their big day.
