Texas Christmas Tree Farms are definitely must-visits this merry and happy season. After the whole year of exhausting work, these farms provide a refreshing place where you can not only choose and cut your own Christmas trees but also enjoy a wide range of other relaxing activities that are perfect for the year-end.

So, here are 10 Texas Christmas Tree Farms to visit and explore this season this 2021! (All information listed is for the 2021 Christmas Season.)

1. Devine Acres Farm

Farm Address: 944 FM 2200 W, Devine, TX 78016
Farm Hours: 10 am – 5 pm
Gate Fee: $10 per person, free for 2 & under

Here at Devine Acres Farm, they grow quality, hypoallergenic Leland and Arizona Cypress Trees that you can watch and learn to groom and grow during Spring and Fall and cut by Christmas. They have 6 feet up to 11 feet high trees available for $15 to $20 per foot (plus tax). You and your family can also enjoy the playground, roast some marshmallows, mine gems, and many more!

Their Christmas Tree Weekends start November 20 until December 5 where you can enjoy up to $50 credit vouchers when you purchase a tree. 

2. Dewberry Farm

You can take your pick from the customer-favorite Leylands, allergy-friendly Murrays, and stunning Blue Ice trees here at Dewberry Farm. You can purchase Leylands and Murrays (5-12 feet) at $15 per foot and Blue Ice (5-8 feet) at $20 per foot. 

Christmas Tree Weekends start November 26, no reservations or admission fees are required though they do require tokens ($4 each). Or if you want to enjoy the different amenities and activities, you can avail yourself of their Christmas Activity Pass at $19.95 (plus tax). 

3. Yesterland Farm

At Yesterland Farm, you and your kids are guaranteed to get the best Christmas experience with their Christmas Carnival. You can go on the corn maze, visit Santa, and even ride the Christmas Wagon Train! And of course, take your Christmas tree pick from the pre-harvested Fraser Fir, White Pine, and Black Hills Spruce. Then spice your Christmas with fresh garland wreaths.

4. Mainstay Farm Park

Christmas Adventure season is soon to start at Mainstay, and they have an impressive line-up of magical and wonderful activities for everyone. They also offer choose-and-cut Blue Ice as well as pre-cut Fraser Fir trees to take home and celebrate the season. 

Gear up starting November 26 until December 18 to enjoy all of these!

5. Old Time Christmas Tree Farm

This family-owned farm is offering the classic Southern favorite Pine Tree as well as Cypress for choose-and-cut. But if you’d like pre-cut ones, you can pick either Fraser Fir or Black Spruce. Aside from trees, you can also enjoy petting zoos, train rides, and Santa photo sessions, which are priced accordingly. 

Start your annual Christmas family tradition with them starting November 20 until December 12. 

6. Martin Farms Texas

Martin Farms Texas, where every day is fun and entertainment, is opening its tree cutting on November 26. You can cut your own Virginia Pine on opening day, but there are also beautiful North Caroline Fraser Firs to choose from. Each tree is priced by foot based on its quality.

7. Elgin CHRISTmas Tree Farm

Elgin CHRISTmas Tree Farm is excited to share their trees this season, offering Virginia Pine and Leyland Cypress grown in their field. And if you want to secure your tree, make sure to visit them on opening day on November 26 as supplies are limited this season. 

Aside from tree harvesting, they will also have Tuesday Playdays on November 30 and December 7 with an $8 admission. And don’t miss their Church on the Farm on November 28. 

8. Holiday Acres

Holiday Acres offers the best views when it comes to holiday tree cutting. And you can choose to cut Virginia Pines, Leylands, Murrays, or Arizona Cypress for your own home Christmas tree. There is also an option for pre-cut premium Fraser Firs from Michigan. 

Tree cutting opens on November 26, and no appointments are necessary. Holiday Acres also have a barn which is popular for weddings

9. Sunset Hill Tree Farm

Bois D’Arc Christmas Tree Farm prides itself with 100% organic specialty trees that support the local community and keep its customers’ living rooms free of harmful pesticides. Their trees range from $100 to $180, but every dollar is worth it. Aside from that, you can also enjoy your time looking at the majestic view of North Texas and the true Texas Longhorns.
