It is not that common for country artists to be featured on daily shows anymore. The rise of popular music made it hard for country artists to get their spotlight on these shows. Luckily, Jimmy Fallon is a huge fan of Nelson. He got invited to promote his latest album Ride Me Back Home and his outlaw tour. Yes, even at the age of 86, Nelson is still going on tours. On the interview, he shared his tour life and what it feels like living in a bus.

Willie Nelson was also asked about his Rolling Stone cover. He opened up about his struggles before using marijuana. The singer shared that he had pneumonia and his lungs almost collapsed. When the use of marijuana was suggested to him, he got better and was able to stop his smoking habit.

After opening up about his struggles with smoking, they talked about the singer’s marijuana business. The singer jokingly said that he has a unique position in his company. He stated that he is the ‘CTO’ or the Chief Tasting Officer. Before releasing the products, he smokes it first and he decides if it is good or not.

He also talked about his recent album and his love for his horses. Interestingly, the horse named Blue featured on the album cover, was not his horse. He shared that he borrowed the horse from his neighbor. Jimmy was laughing the entire time and was happy that he got to invite his idol, Willie Nelson.
